The second song composed and recorded by Dargor. It’s more atmospheric, faster and longer than the first one. It says about the passing away. Everything we know and do will disappear at some point. What will it matter to you just before the end? Nothing will last forever and we’ll all decay.
lyrics
Watch the landscapes slowly fading
In rays of weakening light
All what was here no longer matters
Embrace eternal night
Trapped in shell of flesh
Consciousness inside
Dreams of goal and dreams of fate
Follows rules and paths defined
Temporary glow
Is tempting us to run
All we're coming for
Destined only to expire
Watch the landscapes slowly fading
In rays of weakening light
All what was here no longer matters
Embrace eternal night
Surrounded by their screams and bleeding
They found there is no way
Divided through deceit of living
United by decay
Burn in shell of flesh
Pestilence inside
Fear of loss and fear of pain
Vision lost, purpose denied
Temporary flame
Is torturing from within
Self-aware constructs
Predestined to disappear
Illusion of light
A matter of time
Watch the landscapes slowly fading
In rays of weakening light
All what was here no longer matters
Embrace eternal night
Surrounded by their screams and bleeding
They found there is no way
Divided through deceit of living
United by decay
The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74
Audacieux ! Jordan Vauvert
