The heaviest and most furious song of the album. When someone goes way too far, only destruction and pain can make a temporary illusion of satisfaction. The lyrics are about killing for pleasure. Taking revenge on everything around. An extreme case, but cases like this happen. Never follow the way of hate.
lyrics
Beginning of night
Get out from disguise
Sadistic desire
I am hunting for life
Ripping flesh
From your bones
Crushing head
No remorse
Urge to kill
Guides my way
Suffering
Makes my day
Tormenting your flesh not enough
Plain earthly destruction
I'll bring you the Hellfire
And soul desecration
From the rise
To descent
Pointless life
Soon will end
Do you fear
End of life
Let me check
With my knife
Tormenting your flesh not enough
Plain earthly destruction
I'll bring you the Hellfire
And soul desecration
Beginning of darkness
Decline of perception
The servant of chaos
On road to perfection
Tormenting your flesh not enough
Plain earthly destruction
I'll bring you the Hellfire
And soul desecration
Beginning of darkness
Decline of perception
The servant of chaos
On road to perfection
The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74
Audacieux ! Jordan Vauvert
